Privacy Policy
Quatsch! uses account information to operate the service, keep sessions secure, show posts and replies, prevent abuse, send requested account emails, and understand product usage. We do not sell personal data.
Data we process
Account details, profile information, posts, comments, reactions, follows, community memberships, reports, moderation records, first-party analytics events, session records, and technical security logs. Anonymous posts hide your public identity but remain linked to your account privately for abuse prevention and legal compliance.
Why we process it
We process data to provide the service, perform requested account actions, protect users, enforce rules, maintain security and reliability, improve Quatsch!, and meet legal obligations where applicable.
Images, email and service providers
Uploaded media may be processed by our configured image-storage provider. Verification and password-reset emails may be sent through our transactional-email provider. Infrastructure providers may process limited technical data required to host and secure the service.
Retention
We keep account and content data while your account is active, and retain limited security, moderation or legal records where reasonably necessary. Expired verification/reset tokens and sessions are designed to be short-lived or removable.
Your choices and EU/EEA rights
You can edit your profile, delete your own content, block or mute users, download your account data, and permanently delete your account from Account & Security. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability.
Children
Quatsch! does not allow account registration by children under 13. Additional age or consent requirements may apply by country and will be enforced as the service expands.
